Shipping Time
Items usually ship within 3-5 days, unless otherwise noted on the product detail page. Deliveries can take an additional 2-3 weeks after the shipping date, depending on location. Our carriers will contact you a day or two prior to arrival to set up a delivery time frame with you. Please allow the lead-time for delivery depending on the product type, color, model, manufacturer, and other factors.

When it comes to order times we are depending on the factory, and freight carriers to provide us with the estimated ship date. Some specialty furniture carriers use third party carriers for some delivery locations, and are unable to provide up to the minute tracking information that is common for small packages. Please understand we are doing our best to ensure best deliveries suited for your product.



Available shipping methods
We offer several shipping methods for you to choose from where available:
Curbside, Inside and White glove deliveries exclude Alaska and Hawaii. Please inquire regarding the shipping price to Alaska and Hawaii for eligible products. All shipping time frames are subject to availability. Furniture Shopping reserves the right to: cancel any order, revise the shipping price, and is not liable for delays cause by shipping companies.


Free Shipping - FurnitureShopping offers free shipping on many items. Usually we offer shipping on items priced over $999, but exclusion applies. The best way to check is add the item to the shopping cart and make and do a shipping quote, or contact us by email, phone, or chat. Usually free shipping is a: Self Service truck delivery or Curbside delivery.

FedEx Ground - Available on smaller furniture items such as chairs, lamps, rugs, etc. Actual shipping usually takes 3-5 business days.

Self Service Truck Delivery - To offer lowest possible prices and fastest shipping, we offer Self Service Truck delivery. It is a free shipping option for many products. Usually you will be called by a shipping company to setup a delivery appointment. When the delivery takes place you would have to remove the item from the truck yourself. It is good advice to bring a friend or someone to help you.

Curbside delivery - Most orders over $999 are usually shipped by Free Curbside Delivery, where arrangements will need to be made by the customer for the furniture to be carried into the house. It is good idea to bring a friend or someone to help you move and unpack the furniture. For orders less than $999 they may be a small freight cost. Also keep in mind that if you order some small furniture, for example "Coffee Table" which has a shipping cost of $99 and decide to also order any other furniture which has a "Free Curbside Shipping" , the whole order will be shipped for free.

Inside delivery - it is a little upgrade over the curbside delivery; usually the furniture is moved by the shipping company to the first dry accessible area of your residence or business. It could be front door or garage. If such shipping option is available for the furniture you are purchasing, you will be able to add it during checkout.

White Glove delivery - on selected items, Furniture Shopping offers an upgrade over regular shipping. This delivery service provides two-man delivery, to inside your residence to the room you choose. This service includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). Once the product is in the room you desire, the shipper will unpack the product and provide basic setup that requires basic tools (i.e. pieces will be screwed or bolted together, set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other). The shipper will also remove and dispose of all packaging (limited to 30 minutes). Any charge that is paid by the consumer for shipping does not constitute white glove delivery unless otherwise stated "White Glove Delivery" Please note: the shipper will not hookup any electrical or component wires.

San Francisco Bay Area delivery - same as White Glove delivery but is offered on all items in San Francisco Bay Area region, with a radius of 55 miles around SF.

Canada Shipping
- we offer delivery to many Canadian cities on limited products. Shipping varies. If you are interested in specific products, please contact us with the product name your address in Canada so that we may calculate the shipping cost and import fees. Selecting "Canada Shipping" during checkout means that we will calculate the price and add it later to Grand Total, and with your approval will finalize the order.

International Shipping - Furniture Shopping has a great experience sending 20 and 40 feet containers to many parts of the world. Please send us a list of products you are interested in and we will calculate the prices. For international shipping, we only ship by containers, not individual items. Average cost of shipping to European/Africa/Middle east $4000.



Delivery acceptance instructions
Delivery must be signed for by the customer or an individual at least eighteen years old that the customer designates to have the authority to sign for the delivery. Before signing for the delivery, please inspect thoroughly for any damage, shortages, etc. In the unlikely event that damage or a shortage has occurred in transit, make a notation on the waybill, retain applicable packaging materials, and notify us immediately at (888) 777-4615. In the event that damage is not noted on the waybill when signing for the delivery or the applicable packaging materials are not retained, any claim for damage must be filed by you directly with the delivery company.
Before signing for delivery, you must thoroughly inspect the packaging/carton/crate and note any visible carton damage on the freight bill. Only if damage exists on the packaging/carton/crate, quickly inspect the actual item for any damage. If there is damage to the item, note it on the freight bill, reject only the damaged piece, and keep the rest.
